One by one, they praised President* Trump, taking turns complimenting his integrity, his message, his strength, his policies. Their leader sat smiling, nodding his approval. And it went on and on, as Trump's toadies fellatiated his ego on camera.
“The greatest privilege of my life is to serve as vice president to the president who’s keeping his word to the American people,” said Mike Pence, starting things off.
“I am privileged to be here — deeply honored — and I want to thank you for your commitment to the American workers,” said Alexander Acosta, the secretary of labor.
A normal person would have been embarrassed to have been captured on camera in such brazen acts of sucking up.
Trump really does seem to believe that he has done more, so far, than any other president in history. He has clearly drunk his own koolaid.
Well, the day may come when, after Trump has been removed from office, that the footage of that session of fluffing Dolt-45's ego will come back to haunt the fluffers.
My first thought was so this is what a Politburo meeting was like, but then I realized it was more North Korean style. The open question was who was getting "executed" next, and if it is Sessions, does he do if before or after he has Mueller fired?
ReplyDeleteMattis was the only one who seemed to not get the memo that he was supposed to be praising Trump. "Mr. President, it’s an honor to represent the men and women of the Department of Defense, and we are grateful for the sacrifices our people are making in order to strengthen our military so our diplomats always negotiate from a position of strength", he said. Trump did not look very happy that Mattis said he served the troops rather than Trump and that diplomacy was as important as the military. Heh.
ReplyDeleteWhoever stops clapping first gets to be a zek for ten years in Siberia. Sessions to be "you're fired" via a pack of wild dogs; spicy riddled by 40mm fire at close range.
ReplyDeleteMost disgusting display of sycophants and lickspittle lackeys in American history.
Ya know, if there is an election in 2020, the available film footage for political ads will be yuge! Not that it will matter...
