"I mean, had Andrew Jackson been a little later, you wouldn't have had the Civil War. He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart. He was really angry that he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War. He said, 'There's no reason for this.' People don't realize, you know, the Civil War, you think about it, why? People don't ask that question, but why was there the Civil War? Why could that one not have been worked out?"Does Trump not know that Andrew Jackson was long dead before the fucking rebs opened fire at Ft. Sumpter?
Trump also does not seem to realize that the Civil War may well be the most written-about war in American history. You could blow out the springs in a large car if you loaded it with one copy of every book on the war. And there is no shortage of discussion in those books about the causes of the war and whether or not there was a hope in avoiding the outbreak of the war.
But Ol' Dumb and Delusional doesn't know a thing about that. Your average fifth grader would know more about the Civil War than Our Preznit.
He's earning the appellation of Dolt-45. He may very well be the dumbest motherfucker ever to hold down the job.
Update: This.
A fitting attitude for someone who has played a starring role in the transformation of the Party of Lincoln into the Party of Jefferson Davis. Not that he was necessary for it, as it has been ongoing for decades now.

ReplyDeleteRed Card to the Asswipe.
ReplyDeleteAs a student of history, of someone who prides himself on passing AP American, whose own mother was a history teacher... Dear GOD, trump's stupidity on this burns to the core. My anger for him is now a thousand times greater. WHAT THE HELL, AMERICA? 62 million of you voted for this idiot.
ReplyDeleteNext he'll be telling us that Native Americans hold Andrew Jackson in high esteem, eh ?
ReplyDeleteThis goes to show the lack of value in private education. tRump displays perhaps a 5th grade education? I'm guessing as my raising kids was some years ago now.
ReplyDeleteTypically about 5th grade he would start to actually rebel and stop going to or listening to his teachers. With his parent's lack of interest and no outside monitoring (State Standards), he was allowed to slide thru the remainder of schooling. As I understand it, even his College disagrees as to his level of participation.
The man, and I use that term very loosely with him, his habits and attitudes toward women at the least, belie the 'man' title, is an uneducated dolt, in truth. Pathetic.
Poster boy for a lack of education and too much money.
w3ski
Nah, w3ski, 5th Grade here in Texas has a thorough review of the Civil War Period. Perhaps 4th grade?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until he picks up a twenty and sees that some old black woman has replaced Jackson. Tweets and more tweets!
