A Russian spy ship has reappeared off the U.S. eastern seaboard, sailing just 20 miles south of the U.S. Navy submarine base at King’s Bay, Georgia, and heading north.Anyone remember the days when a Soviet "fishing trawler" was almost always to be found in international waters off of major naval bases. It was almost newsworthy when the damn things weren't there.
CBS News correspondent David Martin reports the Viktor Leonov, known as an AGI (Auxiliary, General Intelligence) trawler, has a port call scheduled in Jamaica for mid-April, and the assumption among U.S. officials is that it will make one more run up and down the east coast before heading to Jamaica.
A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.

that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
And shadowing every CBG.
ReplyDeleteThey used to catch them off the coast of Northern California and run them off to protect our fisheries, but none of the fishermen who spotted them ever saw them fishing for anything.
ReplyDeleteThe submarines were scarier, in my opinion.

We used to care about such things in a serious but diplomatic way. Just when did that change? And don't just say "tRump", since there is an entire government there to protest this crap as well.
ReplyDeleteWe have entirely become a Client state and I find that disgusting.
Doesn't anyone still care?
