Trump has privately expressed disbelief over the ability of judges, bureaucrats or lawmakers to delay — or even stop — him from filling positions and implementing policies. How could he have not known that, unless he's never bothered to read the Constitution? The Founders set up a government with three roughly equal branches-- the fact that any president wants something to happen or not happen often doesn't matter a shit to the other two branches.
It seems that Trump really did come into office believing that his every whim was law and that Congress and the judiciary would meekly fall into line.
Bad as it is, I did count on an inept Trump versus a Hillary who is very good at doing what she wants.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, the 9th circuit is second guessing itself....

"his every whim was law" How not, when that's been his life?
ReplyDeleteWatching 'Olympus has Fallen' on TNT. I can only imagine if Trump is watching the same, he may tweet out he's under attack! Of course, I'm only joking, I hope.
