Donald Trump says Democrats have shown "gross negligence" by allowing their servers to be hacked in the run-up to the 8 November presidential election.Blaming the victim of a crime for being victimized is the classic dickish move that clowns like Trump do to rape victims.
"She wanted me to do it." "She shouldn't have been in that place." "She drank too much." "She had it coming."
At some point, both Trump and his supporters need to remember that siding with Vladimir Putin makes them appear to be at the least, disloyal, and at the worst, traitors.
The Russians interfered in our election.
For possibly the first time in American history, we're going to have a president who has openly taken the viewpoint of an adversarial power over the national interest.*
We know which side Trump is on: He's on Putin's.
Which side are you on?

Leaving my bicycle unattended is not smart.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't excuse the criminal that steals it.
So, leaving my bicycle locked to a post is not smart, if the criminal cuts the lock and steals it?
ReplyDeleteWhen your password is"password"....
ReplyDeleteNo, not his fault that someone ransacked his house. But he did leave the door open.....

Let's get over the butt hurts and do some business. Last time I checked Russia and the US have 95% of the nukes and one of them sits on the Chinese border. Vladdy is calling for help in Syria.
CP88, your bike is less likely to be taken if you secure it. But since you can't follow the analogies, I'll state it more clearly:
ReplyDeleteThe criminal is always responsible for their criminal act(s). But potential victims would be wise to take elementary precautions.
If you use email, learn what a phishing link looks like.
Then there's the conclusion of the intelligence agencies that the RNC was indeed hacked, but the results were just not leaked, as that wouldn't have served the Russian's interests. So what was Trump's point again?

3383, since you can't follow my point clearly...the server WAS SECURED. Social engineering was used to compromise the security. The same happened to the RNC and the Republican Senate fundraising arm.
ReplyDeleteSo, the door was closed and locked. A resident made a mistake, and left a window open because their "boyfriend asked them to". So now it's on the homeowner, eh?
The Paris peace talks were all kinds of screwed up. I can't figure out what Nixon did or was trying to do, but abandoning South Vietnam is what it amounted to.
ReplyDeleteI was more shocked to learn that Ted Kennedy offered to help out the USSR and Andropov (Putin pere) if they would help prevent Reagan's reelection. We plebes have apparently never mattered to the 1%.
CP88; no, it's not on your "homeowner", nor Comrade's rape victims, nor those using non-secure networks (any unscrambled email including private servers), nor anyone except the criminal. I regret being unable to communicate my point to you clearly.
3383, I regret your inability to see the forest because you want to blame that single tree.
ReplyDeletePlay nice, people.
