More Bullshit From the Trumpers

This time, from his Chief Whitewasher, Kellyanne Conway:

"You have to listen to what the president-elect has said about that. Why don't you believe him? Why is everything taken at face value?” she asked anchor Chris Cuomo.“You can't give him the benefit of the doubt on this and he's telling you what was in his heart? You always want to go by what's come out of his mouth rather than look at what's in his heart.”

Sounds like a good idea.

We could do that every time Trump says something hateful, stupid, and supportive of the Russians.

Snark aside, what Conway said was the same sort of clean-up drivel one hears after some business owner or public official goes on a racist, sexist or homphobic tirade and then gets surprised by the backlash. Like this guy. Or this guy. Or this woman. Or this guy. Or this guy.

We can't see into Trump's heart. What we have to judge him by, so far, is what he says. And going by that, he pretty much hates everybody except able-bodied white guys born in the U.S.

(And, of course, Vladimir Putin. Trump adores Putin.)
