  2. It is hard to do as the heat tends to shift the tuning.

    Also its notable that they are normally tuned a bit discordant to the sharp side.

    But that one needs to be hit with a hammer (tuning tool).

Every year at Derby Day (speaks the guy raised in Louisville, KY) there was a race between the Delta Queen sternwheeler (big and fast) and the Belle of Louisville, (the city's s/w, slower but more maneuverable). But before that there was the calliope duel. The only musical instruments that are dueling weapons
