FBI Director James B. Comey and Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. are in agreement with a CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election in part to help Donald Trump win the presidency, according to U.S. officials. No doubt that
Comey’s support for the CIA’s conclusion — and officials say that he never changed his position — suggests that the leaders of the three agencies are in agreement on Russian intentions, contrary to suggestions by some lawmakers that the FBI disagreed with the CIA.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
I'm curious. What exactly did the "Russians" do to change the election?
ReplyDelete(IF) they disclosed the emails from the DNC do you think that that changed anyone's mind? I think most Hillary supporters would have backed her no matter what by then, and most Trump supporter the same....
Can anyone show me a material change that the "Russians" actually may have made?
'Cause all I see in the press is innuendo and no real data....
B: I don't suppose Nixon's DNC break in changed the outcome of the '72 election, either. Does that make it OK?

I think Comey was in a tough spot. Inform Congress when he knows, or withhold information. Someone gets mad either way.
