Republican Newspaper Implies that Trump is Worse than Hoover

Since The Arizona Republic began publication in 1890, we have never endorsed a Democrat over a Republican for president. Never. This reflects a deep philosophical appreciation for conservative ideals and Republican principles.

This year is different.

The 2016 Republican candidate is not conservative and he is not qualified.

That’s why, for the first time in our history, The Arizona Republic will support a Democrat for president.
They could stomach Herbert Hoover, Alf Landon, Richard Nixon and Sarah Palin John McCain, but they can't stomach The Donald.

Nothing to add to that.

  2. My favorite line was "Instead of offering solutions, he hangs scapegoats like piñatas and invites people to take a swing."
Whatever else you can say about that paper, their writers do use colorful language.

  3. Another blog started listing the top problems which have come to public awareness recently, starting off with breaking the Cuba embargo. I think if he fails to gain the White House, there is a whole lot of legal expenses which will be billed to his 'charity'...maybe enough to cause it to go bankrupt.
