It the President didn't sign off on this, the Army would be saying exactly squat. The military commanders don't get any more say in it because of whatever Trump is spewing, regardless of what the reporter might think. Stupid twit.

He's not hardly eating anything, now. I can feel the side of his shoulder blade, he's that skinny. If I wasn't taking him in tomorrow, I don't think he'd be long for this world.
He earned his long nap, and he's lucky he found the guardian that he did.

It's a kind of hell going through this, but a kind of hell we volunteered for. I pay that debt, endure it [cuz that's all you can do] for all the great times and years I've had... believers say Heaven is where you go and all your pets meet you at the gate. I'm not a believer, but that sentiment comforts me anyway - maybe it ain't true, but it damned well ought to be.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Ackerman. Chris Hayes used to invite him onto his weekend show and I really didn't like it. He was billed as some kind of foreign policy and armed conflict whiz, but he never seemed that smart, and just seemed like he mostly made his bones on TV by ridiculing people in authority, not bad policies or wrongheaded ideas.
