Because It's Friday

    I couldn't figure out what they were doing for work until I Googled it,
    Giant water pumping stations.

    Wicked interesting, I love old machinery.
    18 RPM is actually a pretty good clip for the amount of rotating weight they have going on there.

    I have seen the concept of a little motor used to start a bigger motor a few times, old Caterpillars had that set up on them, they call the little motors "Pony Motors".

    Thanks for the clip, it's much better viewing in Full screen, you get a better sense of just how massive they are when you first notice the connecting rod starting to move and the giant freaking End Cap come into view.
