Confirmation about Benghazi

The investigations by Congress were never about what happened there. They were only motivated by politics. It was truly a McCarthyite smear job.

For this is what Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who hopes to Speaker John Boehner, ttold Sean Hannity of Fox News:
“What you’re going to see is a conservative speaker, that takes a conservative Congress, that puts a strategy to fight and win.

“And let me give you one example. Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right?

“But we put together a Benghazi special committee. A select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known that any of that had happened had we not fought to make that happen.”
Of course, McCarthy's clean-up detail is trying to walk back his comments. But there's no walking that back, except in the minds of the faithful viewers of the Fox Propaganda Channel.

The crap about Benghazi and now the email server is all about politics, folks. It's about a GOP smear campaign. And it's all pretty damn despicable.

  2. Have you heard the way McCarthy talks? Kind of Bush-y, I'd have to say.
And again, I hereby apologize on behalf of the state of California for the existence of Kevin McCarthy.
