A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Starting the "No Fun Zone" Early in Colorado
So now the teachers are inspecting the lunch bags? For what, exactly? Smuggled vodka?
The school's denying that was their policy. Which is probably bullshit, because when bureaucrats end up being publicly shamed, they find some flunky to throw under the bus.

ReplyDeleteThe self-appointed food monitors could just as easily have made a big deal about the nitrites in the ham sandwich.
And what does a parent do about the mandatory milk if the child has lactose-intolerance issues?
And I hasten to note that the quality of school graduates was much, much higher in my day, back when peanut butter sandwiches were almost the norm.
Food monitoring -- It's not about the food, it's about the monitoring!
Had that been my child, and the wife had not stopped me, a short, concise note would have been sent to the principal reading Fuck off.
ReplyDeleteI wonder which school official ate the cookies after stealing them form the child.
ReplyDeletew3ski
They supposedly sent the cookies back home with the kid.
ReplyDeleteThis was a private school, at least. Although that won't stop the internet from being overloaded with cries if government overreach and nanny state!
ReplyDeleteIt was a private school that was providing services to the public school system. Which kind of, sort of, makes it a public school (and accountable to them).
ReplyDeleteA private school getting public financing...exactly what the right thinks is best. Of course, private schools tend to often pay teachers less and recruit those with certain views. Which explains why the right likes them sooooooo much. The latest backdoor school voucher attempt here in Texas is a bill that would allow Corporations to pay up to half their taxes in the form of donations to provide vouchers or "scholarships" for students to attend charter schools, of their choice.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that this is basically allowing Corporations the right to direct their taxes in a way that the same people argue is absolutely impermissible when someone might want to not allow their taxes to pay for military spending or such.
