Caturday

Jake was disgruntled.

He hadn't had a bowel movement for a few days or so. So he went to the vet for an enema and hydration. Fresh indignities for an old cat.

He's also been losing some weight. Nothing obvious was found, so after the holidays, he'll go back for some blood work.

  1. Oh... Yep, I'm betting he was just a 'tad' grumpy...

  2. Old cats get to be expensive. Wouldn't be without her though.

  3. Enema of the State? Our plugged up cat responded well to lactulose doses for several years, but was younger. The best trick was liquid dose in a syringe, into the mouth, holding to closed while blowing on the nose. Bert never figured out he was going to get that every day, but he knew when he was off to the vet for a cleanout!

You know him well, just listen to what he's telling you and what your heart says. I certainly hope this is just a one time occurance. Best wishes to you both and a Happy New Year!
