An attack aircraft that the Pentagon is trying to get rid of has been deployed to the Middle East to take on the Islamic State.
A squadron-sized element of A-10 Thunderbolts arrived in the region during the week of Nov. 17-21, according to the Air Force. The aircraft were previously being used in Afghanistan.

I've been wondering about the F35's too.
ReplyDeleteWhy so down on turkey's, Comrade. They can generally fly better than a F-35, as I've never seen a turkey catch fire because it was flapping it's wings.

ReplyDeleteThe Chair Force says it wants to eliminate the A-10s. Not the rest of the Pentagon, and surely nor the Army.
