The Web-Enabled Crock Pot..Um, Really?

Yes, you can buy a wifi-enabled crock pot, which was a story on CBS Sunday Morning.

$130 seems like a lot for a crock pot, considering that is several times the price of a regular crock pot.

  1. Is it spyware-enabled? If the retailers know your cooking habits, they can then target you for marketing utensils and victuals.

No, thanks! My wife and I will use the non-cyber crock pot we have now. Works just fine for cholent.

  2. All we need now is a World Nut Daily article on how they dissected one and found a miniature medical pump and some mind control chemicals in it...
