But not this kind:
A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

I had the good fortune, in my limited aviation career, to hear the Beverly tower controller say, "Traffic is the Goodyear Blimp," to which I responded, "Tallyho," from a fair distance away.
ReplyDeleteI have the fortune of sharing the pattern at KBED with said Goodyear blimp back in the day.
ReplyDeleteThe controller who both knew me and had a good sense of humor (and a light load) comments Cessna XXX number on in the pattern keep you speed up traffic is a blimp...
C150: Roger, will peddle hard.
Eck!
Called traffic to a SWA pilot today, "Traffic is 1 o'clock, 3 miles, 1000 feet below your assigned altitude, company B-737. He's also going to Hobby and the reason I slowed you down." Pilot came right back, "Traffic in sight, how about we race him for pink slips?"
ReplyDeleteWhere's the Blimp noise? I was expecting a blimp noise recording...maybe a takeoff with full afterburners....
