A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Santa Barbara Asswipe
But oh, if you read the gun-control loving blogs, none of this would have apparently happened if Asswipe didn't buy a gun. Which assumes facts not in evidence, of course.
Some of them are currently somewhat distracted by Asswipe's participation in the "men's rights movement", but don't worry: They'll circle back to the idea that This Harmless Snowflake Would Have Done Nothing Without a Gun, soon enough.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
...but, also to be honest, he likely would have done somewhat less damage without a firearm. But, neither side would endorse seeking the truth in the middle ground, that the person was the killer and the weapons his tool. How do we identity and defuse these individuals?
ReplyDeleteA thought, are these mass killers perhaps our version of suicide bombers? Filled with rage and having no target endorsed by society, they turn inward and explode. And, if they are, does the increase of this mode of violence in our society send a message about what is simmering under the lid of the melting pot?
We are not the only nation that has spree-killers. Having said that, focusing on the weaponry used is akin to painting the outside of a derelict building.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, we aren't. And the derelict building is a very good analogy for our individuals with mental problems. Both are a danger to society, but the building is more easily addressed via the current laws.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, having no realistic means to address the mental health/gun issue because of the destruction of the mental health system and the neutering of any laws restricting in some small way sales/ownership to those with mental health issues is a powder-keg. I'm not in favor of confiscating guns "from anyone for any reason", but there has to be a middle ground that addresses this.
