My Parents were Jewish and my Sister and I were raised to be whatever we chose to believe. I was taught at a very young age about what had happened then and told matter of factly that "I have lost relatives" due to the Holocaust.

ReplyDeletethe Klan was active in my town in the 20's, burning crosses on the bluff behind my granddad's house... it's a dink little Minnesota river town... since there were no blacks here their targets then were Jews and Catholics... their kids, my contemporaries, are racists and worst, their grandchildren are just as racist as I discovered a few days ago looking at their rants in a Facebook group
