The ship is over twice as long and has about eleven times the displacement of the Maersk Alabama.
A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Gee, I wonder what would happen if all the containers were filled with ANFO and set off in NY Harbor. Or even a significant fraction. Nah, never happen.
ReplyDeleteIt'd probably be nothing compared to a LNG tanker blowing up.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so the Chinese are trying to build aircraft carriers. Crap, they could just move the island to one side and slap a deck and a coupla elevators on these mothers and have one hella aircraft carrier!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you'd need a light rail system to get around the bridge, never mind the deck.
ReplyDeleteLNG doesn't explode very well...you have to get it all nicely mixed with air to make it go bang and in all the tests, it usually catches fire long before that. Makes a nifty bonfire for sure, but not likely much of a bang
