On the Ramp

This Air Tractor waited its turn at the fueling station:


The Air Tractor pilot was on a ferry flight, for there aren't any operations around here that use them. The pilot must have been getting nosebleeds from flying more than a hundred feet AGL. He never shut down, he refueled his airplane with the turbine still turbinating. I imagine that those airplanes are designed to do that safely, since daylight is money for them.

    You sometimes see that at skydiving operations...I believe the PT-6 has some maintenance intervals that are based on cycle count.
