Command Responsibility Still Means Something to Some Captains

It did to a 737 captain at American Airlines, who did what he thought was right.

    1. I've read that Cap'n Dave was "encouraged" by his employer to stop blogging. Which is too damn bad. He didn't write nasty things about the airline. He is one of the better aviation writers out there. I hope he does a book at some point.

  3. I was "encouraged" by my manager to stop blogging about ATC. Hence why my Flying Penguin blog went dormant.
