Turning Back the Teabaggers (and the American Taliban)
Mississippi voters have rejected an amendment to the state constitution aimed at outlawing abortion, a setback for opponents of abortion seeking to overturn the Supreme Court decision legalising abortion in the US.
The state senator who wrote Arizona's controversial immigration law conceded defeat Tuesday night in a recall election widely seen as a referendum on tough measures against illegal immigrants.
Maine voters have repealed a law requiring voters to enroll at least two days before an election, restoring a four-decade policy of allowing registrations as late as Election Day.

So the voters stopped three hairball laws and threw out one hairball legislator. When will they learn to stop electing hairballs in the first place?
