For those would seem to be the wedding vows endorsed by Rev. "Lesbian Judges Caused 9-11" Robertson:
Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says divorcing a spouse with Alzheimer's disease is justifiable because sufferers are "like a walking death.""Cut and Run Christianity" at its finest. Sounds as though that particular Biblefied Bigot is setting himself up to endorse ol' Newt, who allegedly has his own personal experience with that sort of thing.
But if you're payin' all those medical bills, how are you supposed to tithe? Priorities, Woman. Priorities!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to guess, I'd guess that either a member of his family or a wealthy donor wants to dump a spouse that has Alzheimer's.
ReplyDeleteMoral, after all, are for the other guy. IOKIYAR still applies.
I do believe that he's following Newt.s moral leadership here.
ReplyDeleteOh my. Newt is a politician, politicians are *supposed* to be reptiles (and Newt is, Newt is). But Pat Robertson sez he's a man of JEEEEEzus, by gawd. JEEEEEzus apparently being, like, this manly rich man who wouldn't put up with some whiny chick with the disease of the month, as vs. being this skinny carpenter dude who, like, went around curing people's illnesses and shit.
ReplyDeletePat Robertson gets my "Republican Lizard Person of the Week" award, winning out over the "yes let him die!" yeller at the Teabagger Circus err "debate" earlier this week. So much sociopathy on display this week, it's stunning...
