I Do Not and Will Not Buy At a "Memorial Day Sale"

I believe that any store that holds a "Memorial Day Sale" deserves to go bankrupt in very short order.

If they want to hold a "Beginning of Summer Sale" or a "Holiday Weekend Sale", that's fine by me.

But not a "Memorial Day Sale", for that is a profane act.

Need I elaborate on this?

  2. Well said. I cringe equally at "Memorial Day sales" and salutations of "Happy Memorial Day!".

It seems that most of America has either confused or conflated Memorial Day and Veterans Day...or suffer from disposable, short attention span syndrome.

Either way...it's a sad reflection of our nation.

  3. I am so with you!

@Constit. Insurgent... I am convinced that 95+% of Americans have no idea at all what Memorial Day is. I too have heard "Happy Memorial Day."

Morons should be forcibly sterilized. They are destroying the country.
