Former Sen. Rick Santorum said Tuesday that Sen. John McCain, who spent 5 1/2 years enduring brutal treatment at the hands of his North Vietnamese captors, doesn't know how effective waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques can be.John McCain and his prisonmates suffered from every form of torture that the North Vietnamese and Cubans (no doubt with assistance from the Chinese and the Russians) could deal out. The POWs were tortured for information and for false confessions. One POW, in an interview filed for the North Vietnamese, blinked "torture" in Morse Code.
I submit that John McCain is well qualified to speak on the issue of the use of torture in interrogation, as opposed to Frothy,‡ who probably gleaned all of his so-called knowledge of the use of torture from watching episodes of "24".
Beyond that, if Frothy has ever worn a uniform, other than maybe that of a Boy Scout, it's news to me.

‡ "Frothy", because "Santorum" has been defined as "the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex."
I call him "Man-on-dog", because of his fascination with man-on-dog sex, which he brings up every time he talks about homosexuality. What kind of person obsesses about man-on-dog sex? Combine that with the frothy thing and the image that comes to mind is.... ick. Just ick. Even a pit bull deserves better than that :(.

I just went over to your blog and saw that you made pretty much the same points last night. So we're in violent agreement.
ReplyDeleteI do think, however, that "Frothy" is a better nickname for him.
Sadly "pure, blind stupidity" is not a crime so people like the Frothy One are allowed to ruin a perfectly good day whenever they choose.
