I am referring to those hate-filled lunatics of the Westboro Baptist Church. They have gone from picketing at gay-themed events and soldiers' funerals to picketing at the funerals of accident victims.
Presumably, their next step will be to picket at the funerals of people who died from strokes.
One of them got manhandled recently just before a soldier's protest. Sooner or later, somebody is going to take a shot at these fuckers.

Westboro's folks virtually all have law degrees, and suing people who manhandle them is how Westboro makes its living. What, you don't think these scumbags had *real* jobs, did you?!

Except in Mississippi, they couldn't identify the perp. They also, so far as I know, never found out who slashed their tires in McAlester.
ReplyDeleteAnd I imagine that if they got shot on the fifty yard line of a Texas high school football field during halftime, all 5,000 people at the game would have been in the bathroom or out behind the stadium pounding down beers.
It'd be like the shooting of Ken McElroy 30 years ago.
I have to admit that if these bullies got murdered, there'd be mighty few people whose eyes happened to be open at the time of the death. Of course, the question is whether the person who's videotaping these confrontations from outside the area of confrontation captures the events on video or not... yes, they do have someone standing outside their "protest" taping the "protest", and have introduced that evidence in court before when suing people who attacked them -- or law enforcement agencies which refuse to step in when people attack them. I'm sure they'd gladly accept three or four "martyrs" in exchange for millions of dollars, remember, this clan pops out babies the way toasters pop out bread.
