The analogy to Ann Coulter in that both are bombastic firebrands that nobody should take seriously is spot-on; except for the fact that while Coulter may be an outrageous media whore who loves controversy because it sells books for her and gets her well-paid speaking gigs, nobody has, to my knowledge, attacked Coulter for being an ignoramus.*
