Officer Down

A police officer was shot and killed yesterday in Poughkeepsie, NY. In short, some guy shot and killed his wife by the train station and tried to run off with their child. Police responded to the "shots fired" call; the perp killed one of the officers. It's still unclear as to whether the perp offed himself or he was shot by another officer.

One would only hope that there will be an annual ceremony where someone pours piss on the grave of the perp.

And because some whackaloon took the "if I can't have you, nobody will" route, a three year old child is now an orphan.

No details about the deceased officer have been released, but presumably a woman has been widowed and some children or young adults found out last night that their father had been slain.

UPDATE: Officer John Falcone, was an 18 year veteran of the Poughkeepsie Police Department. Asswipe the shooter did off himself.

  1. Why do these people have to take others with them? Is that how they make sure their passing is noted?

Having narcissistic tendencies myself, this shit really gets under my skin. Who on this earth is so entitled?

    Sorry. Ranting; I'll contain myself.

  2. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: nobody should be allowed to be crazy. Um, that doesn't help much, does it?
