Middle-class homeowners, whose "wealth" is invested in their homes, are still screwed. Higher corporate earnings are not resulting in either increased hiring or higher pay for workers (only for top executives).
Income inequality keeps growing in this country, as the GOP keeps working to hollow out the middle class wage earners. Which explains why the darling of the corporations, Mitt "Offshorer" Romney, is running for president.
