A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or

How About Using a Different Type of Grass Seed to Spell Out a Message to the Cops in Your Lawn?
I imagine that there will be considerable interest in building jammers.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
Holy shit, EBM. And to think, I always chuckled at the Conspiracy Nuts.
ReplyDeleteDamn. They were right about this one.

Copseyes, Finest observer drones for law compliance.
We have seen this one coming for a while. Science fiction has too, in all cases it was the Orwellian stuff.
Eck!
Hey, the Suffolk County (NY) PD uses aircraft already. Being we have 2 municipal airports here (Islip/MacArthur and Republic Field) ain't nobody notices yet another single engine Cessna or Piper flying around or another Bell Jet Ranger. They been watching us for years.
ReplyDeleteFixer, difference is the UAS gives cheap persistent surveillance. One plane up for an hour would pay for several drones up for several days, I bet.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is it won't be long before they see them as revenue tools and use them for speed enforcement.
Lots of timing lines on the interstate near me, but I think I may have seen a plane doing speed once in 6 years.
Dave
Dave, I got s speeding ticket from the Chippies in the late `80s based on some clown timing me from his Cessna.
ReplyDeleteXR ... Dave - The first mission of the "air precinct" was traffic enforcement. That was in 1975. Now they watch everything. From what I hear (from a buddy I went to high school with and is now a Suffolk cop), they now have infrared sensors on the aircraft to look for pot growers and radiation sensors to look for terrorist dirty bombs. They'd probably know if you farted sideways in your own house at this point.
