The Doolittle Raid
(News You May Have Missed)

The last surviving pilot from the Doolittle Raid has died.

Col. William Marsh "Bill" Bower was 93.

  1. All the WW2 guys are going quickly now. My father-in-law, a USAAF flight engineer in Europe, is gonna be 92 in a couple months. They're all in that age range now. I don't think there are any alive from WW1 anymore.

    the trial of the few who fell into Japanese Hands
    their execution
    the untold thousands of Chinese who were executed for helping the crews
    sigh
    all my Greatest Generation relatives have passed on as well
