The 25 year old kid who built a couple of gun-running businesses when he was barely of legal age to own one is on his way to prison for at least four years.
I don't understand why, when he pled guilty in 2009, it took until now to sentence him.

It took two years to sentence him because he was busy testifying against his co-conspirators in order to get an easier sentence -- which he did get, compared to what was originally proposed.
