Remember Judge Baltazar Garzón?

He opened an inquiry into the use of torture by the Bush Administration. The Obama Administration pressured the Spanish government into shutting down the inquiry. Soon after, he was the subject of an investigation.

Which is all something to keep in mind when reading about about the case against Wikileaks founder Assange.

  1. Assange is a marked man, but the government will keep a deniable distance between themselves and whoever they get to do the job.

  2. He'll probably die in a hit-skip motor vehicle accident or he'll be found in a ditch with a rusted trench knife from the Great War plunged inbetween his shoulder blades.
