Brave, Brave, Brave Governor Christie

When a blizzard was on the way,
Governor Christie bravely ran away.
Snow was mounding over his head,
Governor Christie turned and fled.
He boarded a plane,
He left his house,
He's down in Orlando,
With Mickey Mouse.
Brave, brave, brave Governor Christie.
I don't understand why New Jersey has a lieutenant governor if both the governor and lieutenant governor are both absent from the state at the same time. It certainly allowed the president of the state senate, a democrat, to look pretty good in comparison.

Across the river in New York City, it's no shock that the streets where powerful politicians and the rich folk live were plowed first.

  1. The Lt. Governor's position was created here in NJ to take over if the Governor is unable to fulfill his duties long term. Prior to this, the State Senate Pres. would have been running the state until a special election could have been held, which would take months.

One of them should have been present though, we knew this storm was coming for a week.
