My daughter recently refused to be scanned, and they gave her a hard time about it, then proceeded to pat her down with vigor. She endured, and gave them a big FU. We don't have to take it. Pretty proud of her.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough the conservative bullies of the previous post seem like they are working for the TSA as in humiliate those that do not comply and say Baa like all the others.
ReplyDeleteLet make sure the "pat down" is quoted like they conservatives do and also refer to the procedure using hateful words like "grope" or "cop a feel".
Still sounds like date rape, only without the dinner or the rufies.

I'm not flying, period, with the current setup. Not that the airlines will notice -- I only flew twice a year (at most) anyhow, once on business and once to visit family back in flyover country -- but no more. If I *have* to go back for some reason, and it's not an absolute emergency, I'll take a leave of absence from work and *drive*, even though it's a three-day drive.
And if millions of other Americans make the same choice... well. Then people with money -- the airlines -- will start screaming. And you know how it is when money talks... Congress listens.
