Oh, I'd have bailed out the banks, but the resultant pyramid of heads in Battery Park would have given qualms to Madame Defarge. Those fuckers not only let their greed run away with what little sense they had, but many of them actively worked to wreck the global economy so that they could profit from it.
Calling them "fat cats" is mild. Many of those bastards have worked tirelessly to gut the American industrial base and ship it overseas. Any number of them would qualify as committing the economic version of treason. Goddamned right that Obama has been too easy on them.

ReplyDeleteI'd line the heads on pikes the whole length of Wall Street, and then all the surrounding streets, in circles around every bank and investment firm.
Name cards below the heads, for when the crows have made identity difficult to discern.
If you watch people on TV who admit to voting for Obama and saying this is not what they expected. It is because Obama followed Bush into bailing out the banks with taxpayer dollars but has done nothing to bail us out. So who does he look for to vote for him in 2012? Wall Street?
