The Intelligence Community: In the Thrall of the Contractors

First there was a contractor named Mike McConnell. He was a big wheel in the intelligence contracting biz and then he became the DNI, cementing the primacy of contractors in the intelligence community. A book about it, Spies for Hire, was published two years ago and sank without a trace.

Only now, the WaPo is about to go over the same ground. And the contractors and their butt-monkey in the Federal intel community are nervous.

Note that their big concern is being able to spin the story. That's all. Those bastards routinely run roughshod over the rule of law and the Constitution for their own greedy motives and they don't like that a spotlight is going to be trained on them.

Oh, and you might have noticed that you won't find the Constitutionally-concerned Teabaggers worried aobut any of this. No sirree.
