CIA- What the Fuck?

I picked up a copy of Valerie Plame's book, "Fair Game" on the sale rack at Walden Books. The book is her memoir of service in the CIA and her subsequent betrayal by Dick Cheney. The CIA redacted the manuscript, the book was published showing the redactions.

The CIA has to have its head seriously up its ass. In the first chapter, she wrote about applying to the CIA for a job. This sentence was on page 6:
"In the meantime, I found a job as a management trainee with a (redacted) Washington department store (redacted."
Really, guys? You had to redact the location and the name of the department store chain that she worked at before she went to work for you?

What's the reason for that?

On another note, Sen. Mitch McConnell said that the weather was interfering with the operation of the government. He was probably miffed because that's his job.
