Still a Very Bad Idea

Craig Hooper apparently thinks that putting conventional warheads on SLBMs is a good idea.

I disagree, for reasons I blogged about well over a year ago.

  2. Might want to take a moment to sorta ponder just how our work in Precision Strike might have encouraged other folks to pursue similar design spirals.

    Like, oh, the Chinese Carrier Killer of Doooooom!

    The reasons for NOT doing this are strong. But could the threat be used as a saber-rattler? To encourage some arms control discussions? Maybe?
