Nice to See Those "Compassionate Conservatives" At Work

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) was showing some of that old "compassion" that conservatives are so known for:
"Illegal immigrants from Haiti have no reason to fear deportation, but if they are deported, Haiti is in great need of relief workers, and many of them could be a big help to their fellow Haitians."
Thankfully, at least this time around, there seems to be no shortage of Republicans who see things otherwise.

  1. When my dad passed away Colorado became my home. The fact that King and Grassley got and continue to be elected speaks to the depth of how fucked up many people in Iowa are. It gave me an excellent education that was not biased in any way except for the two years spent in a catholic school that fucked me up some ways forever. I can't hardly stand to go back because most of the people I no longer have much in common with. It's unfortunate that a state that had so much going for it turned to the side of stupidity rather than reality. They're close to being like some of the southern states. The Des Moines Register is a farce the fields and rivers polluted and one of the highest cancer rates in the states. And it stinks like pig shit all over but they don't mind and build more confinement centers. Iowa is turning into a real shit hole filled with religiously insane dumb fuckers.
