Is "Trijicon" Arabic for "Ignorance"?

A comment from an e-mail list that I am on: "Haven't any of those mooks in either Ft. Fumble or at Trijicon ever heard of the Sepoy Rebellion?"

We really do need to be doing a better job of teaching history in this country.

  1. Especially since Ft. Fumblites are supposed to have taken *miitary* history, and thus should decidedly have heard of the Sepoy Rebellion. Crap, I have, and my reading of military history isn't all that deep.

As for Trijicon, well, I expect they learned their history at Christian Bible Academy. They can likely tell you how many sons Noah had and how many begats there were at the start of the gospel of Matthew. Other than that... probably not.

  3. Previous posting on this blog. Morons putting bible verses on rifle scopes sent to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. And the Sepoy Rebellion was a case of beef/pig fat supposedly on cartridges that had to be inserted into the mouth in order to load early Minie-ball rifles...
