"Well, Duuuhhh!"; Polanski Edition

From the Beeb:
Film-maker Roman Polanski has been denied bail ahead of his possible extradition to the US, the Swiss Justice Ministry has said.

Ministry spokesman Folco Galli said the government maintains there is a high risk Polanski may flee if released from custody.
That is a "no-brainer", I'd think. The reason that the little child-raper is in jail in Switzerland is because he ran in the first place. If that disgusting slug of a fugitive were to skip over to France or Poland (he has dual citizenship), he could live in either nation without fear of extradition.

He belongs right where he is: In jail.
