A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

[1]"Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and "Burn After Reading." The third is "the English Patient." A close fourth was "the Cell."

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
I agree they were both smelly pictures. Everyone has off days though, Coen brothers 2x.
ReplyDeleteI'll go see Clooney in almost anything he appears in though. He's done a log of good stuff. And, yes, part of me still thinks he's dreamy... and that voice... what can I say. He's not burned off the goodwill from "Michael Clayton", "The Good Gernam", "Three Kings", "O Brother, Wherefore Art Thou" and "Goodnight & Good luck".
Not to mention "Return of the Killer Tomatoes".
I did like "Syriana" and "the Peacemaker", but the latter would have been far more sucky without the steam train in the beginning. And I loved the shot of the An-2 later on.
ReplyDeleteNow, see, this household did find "Burn After Reading" pretty amusing. But, maybe that is because having worked in military intel...the rampant idiocy was like recalling summer camp or something!
