ReplyDeleteDon't forget to give Mr. Hopey-Changey some credit too, for wanting him left in the caucus so as to not hurt that (mythical) message of bipartisanship and unity! I've despised Lieberman ever since he said this about hospitals that refused to give Plan B to rape victims, "In Connecticut, it shouldn't take more than a short ride to get to another hospital."
ReplyDeleteI think the re-election of Lieberman, given his abject support for a war the overwhelming majority of Conn. voters hated, and his general ineffectiveness at getting anything useful done for either the country or his state, shows just how oblivious most voters are of what their representatives are doing.
