Caturday, the Usual Suspects (Plus One)

Gracie and Jake are waiting for food. Gracie wants her kibble. Jake wants me to scrape up the wet food in the dishes and mound it up so it is easier for him to eat.

George is inspecting the crap that I brought home from work. I had my laptop today as I had to work on a bunch of papers spread out over a conference room table.

There can never be too many photos of Gracie on the Internets.

This is a praying mantis that was perched on a friend's mailbox. It wasn't exactly camouflaged up there, I have no idea what it was doing there (beyond the obvious).

When I was a teenager, I was pulled over while driving the family car. My brother had left a screwdriver on the floor in front of the passenger's seat; it was a long, flat-bladed screwdriver. The cop asked me: "What is that screwdriver doing there?" I looked at the screwdriver for a few seconds and then announced: "It doesn't seem to be doing anything at the moment."

I'm surprised that I didn't get a ticket.
