As a drink: Over ice in a tall glass, pour 1oz of cherry brandy, 1.5oz of gin, 1oz of lemon juice and then top off with soda water.
Stephen Colbert also took a look at the astroturf tea-bag movement.
It would be nice if the so-called political reporters out there were paying attention to this fraudulent grass-roots movement.
As for us, we need to mock these dupes, these tools of the health insurance industry. It is at least amusing, if not downright pathetic, how the rich bastards on the Right can fund a so-called "grass roots" campaign and get a whole passel of badly-educated morons to show up to wave poorly-written signs.
Your embedded vids don't work for me - I'll go look at Colbert's site, I thought he was on vacation (again) this week.
ReplyDeleteDo you have "no script" or something like that running? I am at a different computer than the one I used to upload the post and I can see the vids
ReplyDeleteBoth noscript and adblock, but disabled. Doesn't work at work or @home. If the trouble's not obvious, no matter. I need to check in with Colbert's site anyway.

ps Oshkosh was awesome as always. It's a major letdown when it ends and I'm back in the office.
