During an emotional interview at his Statehouse office with The Associated Press on Tuesday, [Governor Mark] Sanford said [Maria Belen] Chapur is his soul mate but he's trying to fall back in love with his wife. You're not helping your case, there, Marko. That's the sort of statement that is almost guaranteed to lead to your soon-to-be-ex-wife, Jenny Sanford, filing a divorce action. If she really is "an Old Testament woman with a 170 IQ", then ol' Mark is about to experience a heavy application of wrath and scorn.
And he'd better get ready to make child support payments for a very long time.
Her rseponse ought to be, "How in Hell do I reload this thing?" while he lays at her feet, choking on his own blood.
ReplyDeleteCranky, the best revenge is slow and cold. Ten years from now Mark Sanford is going to be a child support evader shuffling through the streets of Charlotte in his fuzzy bath slippers, while his wife is happily remarried and has two wonderful kids in college. And if she happens to see Marky boy in passing as he's digging through a dumpster for his next meal, she'll smile and just give him the finger behind her back as she walks away.

Based on her public response to date, I will hold my opinion. She hasn't shown any inclination to get in his shit as yet.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a burst of flaming hot pissed off wife, followed by the cold,long-term payback that BadTux envisions.
After Sanford's dramatic comments about his one true soulmate Maria and "trying to fall back in love with his wife," it's clear to me he's gone all telanovela so he can move to Argentina and be with his senorita with the Argentinians' blessings.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing creepier than a lily white Gringo trying to act like a hot blooded Latin Romeo.
Poor Maria, she was screwing a potential U.S. President who'll soon be a broke nobody with a wealthy ex-wife.
