Domestic Terrorism

Dr. George Tiller, whose Kansas women's clinic was the epicenter of the state's battles over abortion for nearly two decades, was shot and killed at his church Sunday morning, his family said.
For all of the Right's blathering about Bill Ayers and the Weathermen, it is worth noting that for the last few decades, it has been people on the far-Right who have sought to advance their political agenda by killing people. It has been the rhetoric of the far Right that has created a climate where some people feel justified in slaying others who do not adhere to the Right's ideas as to what is proper.

I have no doubt whatsoever that there are people across this country who tonight are celebrating the murder of Dr. Tiller. Those people are monsters, one and all.

(I will wager this: The jerkwad who murdered Dr. Tiller, inside of a church, no less, will not be tried as a criminal subject to the death penalty.)

And yes, what I said this morning still goes.
