Quasi-Homophobia

I first heard Katy Perry's song "I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It" over the weekend. This is the song:

First off, the song is vaguely homophobic, as she had to deny any sort of sexual attraction. Second, can you imagine a man doing a song called "I Kissed a Man and I Liked It" and having a line about "I hope my girlfriend doesn't mind?"

Jill Sobule's song from 14 years ago was more honest:
